Hope In healing native opioid summit

The Community Health Education & Resiliency Program (CHERP) is sponsoring the 2024 Hope in Healing Native Opioid Summit at the Clyde Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico from March 12-14, 2024.

The Hope in Healing Native Opioid Summit is funded through the Community Opioid Intervention Pilot Project grant from the Indian Health Service. In it's second year, the Summit aims to share trauma informed, and people centered substance use prevention, treatment, recovery, and cultural practice with professionals working in tribal communities.

Registration will close on March 1, 2024. In the event the summit is sold out, a waitlist will be created.

EXHIBITORS

There will be a select number of booths available for organizations and programs to provide information on their services.

The 2024 Hope in Healing Native Opioid Summit will take place at the Clyde Hotel in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Room rate: $141.00 per night

Room block is CLOSED

The room rate is not inclusive of applicable state and local taxes (currently 15.625%), or applicable service or hotel specific fees in effect at the Hotel at the time of the summit.

Hotel room, taxes, and overnight parking ($10/night) are the responsibility of the individual and will not be covered by the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board, Inc. Community Health Education and Resiliency Program.

In the event an individual is not able to attend the summit, it is the responsibility of the individual to cancel their hotel reservation at least 48 hours prior to the original check-in date to avoid any charges or fees. CHERP will not make any hotel cancellations on behalf of the individual.

CHERP will not change reservations booked outside of our block to our group rates.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Written cancellations should be emailed to kbegaye@aaihb.org. Cancellation notifications are encouraged so that room can be made for individuals on the summit wait list. It is the responsibility of the individual to notify the hotel of reservation cancellations at least 48 hours before scheduled check-in date to avoid incurring any costs.

COVID-19 Policy

The Community Health Education and Resiliency Program is committed to providing a safe environment for participants of the Native Opioid Summit. While not required, all participants are encouraged to be up-to-date on current COVID-19 vaccinations. All summit participants will be required to wear face masks at all summit activities at the Clyde Hotel.

Face masks and COVID-19 rapid tests will be available at the summit registration desk.
